We offer free standard delivery on all web orders over £300 + VAT to Mainland UK. A delivery surcharge will also apply to some areas in Northern Scotland, Northern & Southern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight and deliveries into Europe please call one of our sales advisors. Orders placed offline have different carriage charges.
As goods are shipped through a third party, Davanwood Ltd do not guarantee delivery dates and/or times. We cannot accommodate timed delivery requests unless a premium timed option is purchased. If you wish to purchase this option please contact our Sales Office.
In stock smaller items and spare parts ordered by 3pm weekdays will normally be despatched the same day on a next working day delivery, with the exception of items marked "Free Delivery"; please see below for further information. For items that will need to be despatched via a pallet network (e.g. machines etc) will generally be dispatched from stock with a lead time of 3-5 days. Same day delivery can be arranged if needed. All 'next day' delivery services refer to the next working day. Saturday Deliveries can only be accepted on a Friday before 3.00pm. We cannot offer next day deliveries for orders placed over the weekend or bank holidays. All next day deliveries are subject to stock.
All palleted deliveries are made to the nearest access point at the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. The majority of deliveries will be made by luton van or lorry. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit please inform us at the time of order. If the driver arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.
Orders delivered direct by Manufacturer have a standard delivery of up to 5 working days, subject to their stock. Additional surcharges can apply for next-day services, depending on your geographic location and size of the unit. We will contact you prior to dispatch if this occurs, but if you do require a faster delivery please do contact us before ordering to allow us to accurately quote you for this cost.
All Deliveries will be made between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm. We are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are at the couriers’ discretion.
Every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect condition. Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery as no claims with regard to damaged items can be made after the driver has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged on delivery. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us may incur a return delivery charge.
You should check all deliveries before signing the courier's paperwork (this includes electronic pods) or mark clearly that the goods are "damaged" or "short-delivered". Written notice of any claims for damages, goods short-delivered or goods delivered in error must be given to us within 24 hours of delivery. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection. Full credit will only be allowed if these terms are complied with. All items are fully insured please open packaging if there is any signs of damage before signing for the delivery.
Once you sign for the delivery you have accepted it in good condition.
Carriers will not accept it being signed for as “Unchecked”.
Even if you believe it to be damaged you must either refuse the delivery or unpack it before signing. We cannot accept liability, or submit any claims to our courier or transport suppliers, unless these instructions are complied with.
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking trades for installations until goods have been received.
Free Postage Items
If an item is highlighted as having free postage this item will be sent via Royal Mail within 10 working days. If you require your item sooner please select the required option at checkout.
Out of Stock Items
If an item is out of stock you will be advised and given the option to either “back order” or to cancel.
If for whatever reason goods supplied correctly are to be returned to us within 10 working days at your cost. It must be unused and still in the original packaging without damage. Before returning any Goods a Returns number must be obtained from us agreeing return. This number must be quoted on all correspondence and clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. Once received the goods will be inspected and or tested and if found to be defective or damaged in any way whatsoever they will be returned to you at your cost.
If the goods are accepted back into stock and replacement parts have been ordered, a re-stocking fee of 25% of the nett price of the goods will be charged in addition to our carriage costs.
If the goods are accepted back into stock as no longer required and customer has not ordered replacement parts, a re-stocking fee of 50% of the nett price of the goods will be charged in addition to our carriage costs
Any Goods returned without our returns number and prior authorisation will be charged a 100% restocking fee.
If you have product that you feel is faulty, please contact our Sales Office for a Returns Number (RN no.) giving us all details, in order for us to log your concern with the item(s) being returned. We will ask you for a Purchase Order for any replacement parts; you are then charged for the replacement parts. Once the parts / products in question are received, an investigation is carried out to determine the fault. Costs for returning goods are at the customer’s expense. A report is then issued giving you the findings. If no fault is found, we will return the product in question back to you. If the fault is found to be a manufacturing defect, a Credit will be issued subject to our standard warranty policies.
On goods returned that were ordered in error, there is up to a 50% restocking charge (please see above for details).
