Full Delivery Terms & Conditions

We offer free standard delivery on all web orders over £200 + VAT to Mainland UK. A delivery surcharge will also apply to some areas in Northern Scotland, Northern & Southern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight and deliveries into Europe please call one of our sales advisors.

In stock smaller items and spare parts ordered by 3pm weekdays will normally be despatched the same day on a next day delivery For items that will need to be despatched via a pallet network (e.g. machines etc) will generally be dispatched from stock with a lead time of 3-5 days. Next day delivery can be arranged if needed. Saturday Deliveries can only be accepted on a Friday. We cannot offer next day deliveries for orders placed over the weekend or bank holidays. All next day deliveries are subject to stock.

Products marked on the website as delivered direct by manufacturer are generally despatched within 7 days, based on the product being in stock at the time of order and excludes any factors affecting the supply chain outside of our control. Where delivery will be longer than the estimated period shown on the website we will advise prior to processing the order. Where a product is not in stock either with ourselves or our supplier we will advise before proceeding with any transaction.

The carrier will not un-pack or install your delivery. Nor will they carry it up stairs or to specific parts within a building. All items must be checked and signed for on delivery by a responsible person.

All palleted deliveries are made to the nearest access point at the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. It does not include negotiating lifts or stairs. Delivery does not include unpacking or positioning or assembling items. The majority of deliveries will be made by luton van or lorry. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit please inform us at the time of order. If the driver arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered will fit through doorways and into their premises. We cannot accept responsibility if it will not fit. Any carriage charges caused by an aborted delivery are the customer's responsibility.

All Deliveries will be made between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm. We are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are at the couriers' discretion. Please make sure you have sufficient manpower to accept the goods you are ordering.

Every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect condition. Very occasionally an item may be damaged on delivery that is why it is essential to open all deliveries and check for damage before signing the delivery note. Even if the packaging does not appear to be damaged in anyway, it is should still be checked. It will also avoid opening the packet on the day of installation to find the item damaged and not be able to install it. This can also be costly, as you may have booked an installer or engineer.

Remember always give yourself time to inspect your goods before signing before the driver leaves the delivery address, as any damages can be claimed for if made by the delivery company. Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery (whilst the driver is present) as no claims with regard to damaged items can be made after the driver has left the delivery address, unless signed for as "damaged" on the delivery slip/electronic POD. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us may incur a return delivery charge.

You should check all deliveries before signing the courier's paperwork or mark clearly that the goods are "damaged". Written notice of any claims for damages or goods delivered in error must be given to us within 1 working day of delivery. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection. Full credit will only be allowed if these terms are complied with. All items are fully insured.

Once you sign for the delivery you have accepted it in good condition.

Carriers will not accept it being signed for as "Unchecked".

We cannot accept liability, or submit any claims to our courier or transport suppliers, unless these instructions are complied with.

No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking trades for installations until goods have been received.

Free Postage Items

If an item is highlighted as having free postage this item will be sent via Royal Mail on a 3-5 day service. If you require your item sooner please contact the sales office as we can arrange for it to be sent out on a Next Day Delivery, with our usual charge.

Out of Stock Items

If an item is out of stock you will be advised and given the option to either "back order" or to cancel.

Returns

If for whatever reason goods supplied correctly are to be returned to us within 3 working days at your cost. It must be unused and still in the original packaging without damage. Before returning any Goods a Returns number must be obtained from us agreeing return. This number must be quoted on all correspondence and clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. Once received the goods will be inspected and or tested and if found to be defective or damaged in any way whatsoever they will be returned to you at your cost. If the goods are accepted back into stock, a re-stocking fee 25% will be charged in addition to our carriage costs. Any Goods returned without our returns number will be charged a 100% restocking fee.

If you have product that you feel is faulty, please contact our Sales Office for a Returns Number (RN no.) giving us all details, in order for us to log your concern with the item(s) being returned. We will ask you for a Purchase Order for any replacement parts; you are then charged for the replacement parts. Once the parts / products in question are received, an investigation is carried out to determine the fault. Costs for returning goods are at the customer's expense. A report is then issued giving you the findings. If no fault is found, we will return the product in question back to you. If the fault is found to be a manufacturing defect, a Credit will be issued subject to our standard warranty policies.

On goods returned that were ordered in error, there is a 25% restocking charge (please see above for details)
